The Week of Nov. 1-7, 2009

On Tuesday we will have the second exam of the semester. Remember what I warned you about: scores tend to dip a little on this test because the material is more difficult. But, you should be able to keep that from happening if you have been attending regularly, have taken good notes, and do enough studying. Here are my specific suggestions for studying. First, make sure you have all of the lecture notes. If you were not in class to take them then consider watching the lectures on the DVD or looking at the slides on the CD. Second, answer the review questions in the Lecture Guide. Third, run the review presentation on the CD and here at the website. Fourth, take the Practice Test in Blackboard a time or two. If you do not get all of the questions correct that are randomly given to you, then you need to study the review questions some more.

As for Thursday in class, we will continue talking about the Information Search process.
