The Week of Oct. 4th, 2009

Now that you have taken the first exam in the course you have a better idea about what to expect from this point on. Many of you scored well enough that you are not too worried about making a good grade in the course. On the other hand, some of you did not do well and are worried about passing. NOW is the time to figure out what you can do to score better on the next tests. By the way, scores on Test 2 tend to go down a little so even the students who did well on Test 1 should not let up in their attendance and studying.

This week we will be talking about Information Processing. After that we will begin the material on Learning. These are topics you have probably studied in psychology but the difference now is that we will always try to show the practical implications of these theories for business, particularly as they help us understand consumer behavior and how to conduct marketing activities.

In terms of the Review Questions, you should be able to answer up to about #14 by now.
